PRIMA PROJECT MEETING 2

Due to SARS-COVID-19 pandemic, on June 8th, 2019, at 10.00 am (Rome time), the Principal Investigators (PI) and the Research Team Members of the VEGGIE-MED-CHEESES Partners met via TEAMS, with the following agenda:

• connection and greetings
• presentations of the main results achieved by Research partners involved in WP 2 and 3, referring to characterization and cultivation of Onopordum tauricum, Onopordum platylepis, Cynara cardunculus [Italy (UNIVPM) and Tunisia (ISA-CM)]
• presentation of the main results achieved by Research partners involved in WP 4 [Italy (UNIVPM and CREA-AN), Spain (UCAM), Greece (DEMETER)], related to the chemical, biochemical, and microbiological characterization of the aqueous extracts produced from spontaneous and cultivated Onopordum tauricum, Onopordum platylepis, and Cynara cardunculus
• discussion and issues from the Partners
• closure of the meeting.
